Applied Geology has experience and expertise in the design and installation of settlement, slope and pore pressure monitoring instruments, including magnetic extensometers, rod & plate settlement gauges, liquid settlement cells, vibrating wire piezometers and vertical inclinometers.

Applied Geology then monitor the instruments and process the data to interpret the vertical and lateral deformation of the ground in response to new loads such as from land raise, embankments and bunds. This approach allows for validation of the predictive modelling behind geotechnical design and gives confidence and certainty to the design team and Client that the build has met the required specification.
